Cookie policy
Draft for review before publication.
Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device. We also use your browser’s local storage, which works in a similar way. This policy explains what we use and why. It applies alongside our privacy policy.
Your choice
When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics and advertising cookies. Until you accept, they are not set. We use Google Consent Mode: while consent is refused, Google’s tags may still send basic, cookieless signals (for example, that a page was viewed) without storing or reading identifiers on your device. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link, which also appears in the footer.

|---|---|---|---|
| tt_consent | Local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics and advertising cookies | Until you clear it or change your choice |

|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes visitors so we can count visits and see which pages are used | 2 years |
| _ga_<ID> | Google Analytics | Keeps track of the current visit | 2 years |
Advertising (only with your consent)
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
| _gcl_au | Google Ads | Links enquiries and calls from the website to the Google advert that led to them | 90 days |
| _gcl_aw, _gcl_dc | Google Ads | Store the advert click that brought you to the site | 90 days |
These tags are loaded through Google Tag Manager, which does not itself set cookies. Google may also set cookies on its own domains (such as google.com) if you are signed in to a Google account; those are covered by Google’s own policy: policies.google.com/technologies/cookies.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary storage may mean the banner reappears on each visit.
